AmeriCorps is a federally funded network of national service programs working to strengthen communities in every state and U.S. territory, whose mission is to improve lives, strengthen communities, and foster civic participation through service and volunteering. AmeriCorps National Service Programs offer service opportunities, from the classroom to the outdoors, and everything in between. The Governor's Office of Youth, Faith and Family (GOYFF) is responsible for the administration of AmeriCorps State and National funds in Arizona.
Individuals aged 17 to 99 and beyond can become AmeriCorps members, committing their time to address critical community needs like increasing academic achievement, mentoring youth, fighting poverty, sustaining national parks, preparing for disasters, and more. There are a variety of programs and service terms available to fit your interests and schedule. No matter your passion or background, AmeriCorps is right for you! AmeriCorpsService Opportunity Listings are available on the My AmeriCorps Member Openings website. These postings can be filtered by Program Name, Program Type, and Location.
